Anchor Bar is more than just a delicious sauce, it’s the story of a Buffalo classic! Dominic Bellissimo was tending bar at the now famous Anchor Bar Restaurant in Buffalo, NY when he asked his mother to prepare his friends something to eat. Getting creative in the kitchen, Teressa deep-fried the wings and flavoured them with a secret sauce. They were an instant hit, and before long, people flocked to the bar to experience a new taste sensation. Beginning in 1964 and remaining a hit to this day, Anchor Bay knows sauces. After all, it did create the famous Buffalo Sauce we all love today!
